Summary

THE INFLUENCE OF THE EXTERNAL MAGNETIC FIELD H ON THE LOW-TEMPERATURE PROPERTIES OF HIGHLY ANISOTROPIC MATERIALS IN WHICH SUPERCONDUCTIVITY AND SPIN DENSITY WAVE CAN COEXIST, IS INVESTIGATED. THE SYSTEM OF EQUATIONS FOR THE SUPERCONDUCTING ORDER PARAMETER AND SPIN DENSITY WAVE ORDER PARAMETER IS OBTAINED, AND THE FREE ENERGY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN SUPERCONDUCTIVE AND NORMAL MAGNETIC STATES FOR THE CASES OF PERPENDICULAR AND PARALLEL FIELDS IS CALCULATED. THE NUMERICAL CALCULATIONS ARE CARRIED OUT AND THE PHASE DIAGRAMS ARE PLOTTED. IT IS SHOWN THAT THE BEHAVIOUR OF THE SYSTEM IS ESSENTIALLY DEPENDENT ON THE THEORY PARAMETERS.
