Summary
A novel cycle named 3GA2X, which has three generators (one for exhaust heat recovery generator, the other two for general double-effect cycle generators), one absorber, and two heat exchangers, is presented. In 3GA2X absorption chiller, weak solution goes to above three different generators after it passes through the low temperature heat exchanger. Characteristic and thermodynamic performance of this new cycle is analyzed. Comparison of COP and technical economy analysis with general double-effect cycle absorption chiller without exhaust heat recovery generators are discussed. The energy efficiency and economical efficiency of absorption chiller would be improved by the use of this new cycle, providing essential benefits for industrialization.
