Summary

Thermostatically and climate-controlled rooms are widely used in the industrial sector in order to test or validate products before they are placed on the market, or for performing periodic controls. Requirements in terms of environmental conditions to be applied to products are generated by standards or recommendations in the field concerned and are rendered compulsory by directives or specifications. This article briefly describes the main criteria to be taken into account in order to apply the French standard NF X 15-140 which was homologated 3 years ago.
