Author(s) : DIMITROV D. A.

Type of article: Article

Summary

THE RESISTIVITY OF THIN PLATINUM FILMS AT HIGH MAGNETIC FIELDS (UP TO 140 KILO-OERSTEDS) WAS MEASURED AT 30 AND 77 K. THE FILMS WERE DEPOSITED BY MAGNETRON SPUTTERING ON AN ALUMINIUM OXIDE SUBSTRATE. A CHEBYSHEV TYPE POLYNOMIAL DESCRIPTION IS ALSO GIVEN, AT ZERO MAGNETIC FIELD, OF THE FUNCTION R(T) IN THE TEMPERATURE RANGE 10-300 K. THE FIRST DERIVATIVE OF THIS FUNCTION IS COMPARED WITH THAT OF A WIRE THERMOMETER, MODEL PT-103.
