Summary

TURBULENT RECIRCULATING FLOWS IN MANY TYPES OF VENTILATED ROOMS ARE NUMERICALLY SIMULATED THREE-DIMENSONALLY BY MEANS OF A TURBULENCE MODEL. THE RESULTS OBTAINED FROM NUMERICAL SIMULATION ARE COMPARED WITH THOSE GIVEN BY MODEL EXPERIMENTS CONCERNED WITH VELOCITY AND DIFFUSION FIELD.
