Tools enabling evaluation of human comfort.
Des outils pour prendre en compte le confort humain.
Author(s) : FELDMANN C.
Type of article: Article
Summary
Human comfort (in terms of perception of warmth) is more sensitive in the field of air conditioning than that of heating: this is due to "low" inside temperatures in comparison with outside temperatures. Above all, knowledge of how the human body works is necessary in order to avoid disturbing heat exchange mechanisms, since this can trigger discomfort. The author has developed perception tools based on these notions.
