Summary
Since the conventional commercial refrigerated showcase system controls the refrigerators and the showcases separately, they may not be run efficiently. This paper describes the total control method for the commercial refrigerated showcase system using the inverter refrigerator. According to the results of the field test, this system ran highly efficiently for a whole year. Energy consumption was reduced by 49%. The deviation of air temperature in the showcases decreased by 1 to 5°C.
