Transfer processes in falling apparatus.
Author(s) : NUMRICH R.
Summary
Nusselt and Sherwood equations, partially secured by experiments, are applied for dimensioning falling film apparatus. Large number of experiments have shown that the coupled heat and mass transfer processes which occur in the gas and liquid phases, can be shown by simple equations in a wide range of physical parameters. These equations are based on simple physical models which are used for derivation.
