Summary

THE PAPER CONTRIBUTES TO A SIMPLE APPROACH OF THE STUDY OF TRANSIENT REGIME IN REVERSE CYCLE MACHINES. THE TRANSIENT HEAT TRANSFER WITHIN HEAT EXCHANGERS WAS PARTICULARLY INVESTIGATED FOR THE MOST COMMON EXCHANGER TYPES, THAT IS TO SAY TUBULAR BUNDLES AND PLATE HEAT EXCHANGERS. EXAMINATION OF THE RESULTS OBTAINED ON A TUBULAR HEAT EXCHANGER SHOWED THE LIMITATIONS OF THE MODEL. AN EXTENSION OF THIS METHOD FORUSE WITH EVAPORATORS AND CONDENSORS IS PROPOSED.
