POSSIBLE REASONS OF AGREEMENT WITH EXPERIMENTAL VALUES OF THE VELOCITY OF NORMAL ZONE PROPAGATION ALONG THE SUPERCONDUCTOR COOLED BY HELIUM I AND HELIUM II ARE DISCUSSED. THE PROBLEMS OF TRANSIENT HEAT TRANSFER TO HELIUM II ARE FORMULATED ON THE BASIS OF THE APPROACH DEVELOPED PREVIOUSLY.
