Summary

The analysis of the magnetization curves gives the information on magnitudes, field and temperature dependences of the transport critical currents of the YBCO(7-) type high-temperature superconducting ceramics possessing different degrees of dispersion (the grain size varied from about 1 to 10 micrometers). The measurements show that the fine-grained superconductors prepared by the preliminary mechanical activation have the critical currents with an order of magnitude higher than those in samples prepared by the conventional ceramic technique.
