Summary

THE PAPER DEALS WITH THE INVESTIGATION OF VISCOUS WAVES IN HELIUM 3-A AT ZERO MAGNETIC FIELD. IT IS SHOWN THAT THE HYDRODYNAMIC EQUATIONS HAVE TWO SOLUTIONS CORRESPONDING TO SHEAR WAVE OF SUPERFLUID NORMAL COMPONENT AND TO ORBITAL VISCOUS WAVE. THESE WAVES IN ORDINARY FLUIDS AND IN HELIUM 4 ARE LINEARLY POLARIZED. THE WAVE-INDUCED VISCOUS FORCES ACTING AT THE SURFACE OF PARALLEL PLANES ARE CALCULATED WHEN ONE OF THEM TANGENTIALLY OSCILLATES.
