Summary

BECAUSE OF THE WORRY OF RUPTURED TRACHEAS, LARGE BRONCHI AND LARGE VESSELS OF HILAR AFTER CRYOSURGERY OF ADVANCED BRONCHOGENIC CARCINOMA THAT CAN NOT BE EXCISED, AN ANIMAL EXPERIMENT WAS CARRIED OUT BY APPLICATION OF LIQUID NITROGEN TO THE LUNG, HILAR BRONCHI AND VESSEL. ON THE BASIS OF ANIMAL EXPERIMENTAL EXPERIENCE, 17 CASES OF ADVANCED BRONCHOGENIC CARCINOMA OR CASESWITH SERIOUS PULMONARY INSUFFICIENCY WHICH COULD NOT STAND THE RADICAL EXCISION BY CONVENTIONAL TECHNIQUES WERE TREATED WITH CRYOSURGERY BY THORACOTOMY.
