Summary
Reliable materials for scroll compressors using the refrigerant R407C instead of R22 were described. The best material for journal bearings was verified according to its frictional performance on a test bench where the inclination angle of the shaft was changed. The best material for Oldham rings was verified according to the amount of wear evaluated on a test bench where contact surfaces of the Oldham ring were reciprocated under constant load.
