THE CRYOREFRIGERATOR IS DRIVEN BY A VALVE MECHANISM CONSISTING OF 2 SPOOL VALVES OPERATING AT A SUITABLE PHASE SEQUENCEWITH RESPECT TO EACH OTHER. THE VALVE MECHANISM IS DRIVEN BY A MOTOR AND THE CRYOREFRIGERATOR IS CONNECTED TO THE VALVE MECHANISM BY FLEXIBLE GAS LINES. REFRIGERATION OF ABOUT 2.6 W IS OBTAINED AT A TEMPERATURE OF 30 K WHEN THE SPEED OF OPERATION IS 75 REV/MIN.
