TWO-STAGE VAPOUR COMPRESSION REFRIGERATING MACHINE WITH ALTERNATIVE REFRIGERANT FOR MECHANICALLY REFRIGERATED CARS.

Author(s) : MORGENSTERN J., EBINGER I.

Summary

REFRIGERATED VEHICLES ARE WIDELY USED AND THEIR REFRIGERATING UNITS HAVE TO SATISFY SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS FOR THE TYPES OF GOODS TRANSPORTED AND THE VARYING CLIMATIC CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH THEY OPERATE. TO CONFORM WITH THE MONTREAL PROTOCOL, CFCS MUST BE REPLACED, BUT SUBSTITUTES, IN PARTICULAR R134A, WILL UNDOUBTEDLY GIVE A LOWER PERFORMANCE. IT IS PROPOSED TO USE SINGLE-STAGE SYSTEMS IN CASCADE.
