Summary
Chubu Electric Power Co., Inc. & Kobe Steel Ltd. has developed UHE (Ultra-High Efficiency) screw heat pump chiller, which has 40 to 50% better COP than conventional screw chillers thanks to the combination of many epoch-making new technologies including Lorentz cycle with non-azeotropic refrigerant (R407), liquid subcooling systems, high efficiency semi-hermetic screw compressor employing Kobe's own "Super Rotor" and more.
