Number: 108

Author(s) : MIKSCHE R., KRETSCHMER R., KRESS F., KADE A.

Summary

The purpose of the development is a new cryogenic tube. Tube and lid are welded together. For this process a welding tool has to be developed, which melts the thermoplastic material of both components reliably and reproducibly. Hence, the tightness between -180°C to +60°C shall be guaranteed. Loosening of the welded cryotube lid can be performed by hand.
