Uncertainties in the evaluation of window solar heat gain coefficient and U-values measured using an indoor solar simulator facility.
Author(s) : HARRISON S. J., DUBROUS F. M.
Summary
To determine the U-value and solar heat gain coefficient of window systems, the Solar Calorimetry Laboratory has developed a unique laboratory test method based on the use of a solar simulator test facility. To evaluate the possible sources of error related to this test method and their magnitude, an uncertainty analysis was conducted. Some results are given.
