Summary

Sales of frozen food in U.S. supermarkets amounted to 20,999 billion USD in 1995, or an increase of 1.6% over 1994. In volume, however, sales fell by 1.3%, because of a drop in frozen fruit-juice sales. The fastest-advancing category was pasta, which grew by 12.8% in value and by 11.2% in volume.
