UNSTEADY STATE HEAT TRANSFER IN SUPERINSULATED LIQUID NITROGEN DEWARS.

Author(s) : ARUNACHALAM S.

Type of article: Article

Summary

THE SHORT TIME BEHAVIOUR OF THE EVAPORATION RATE IS ESTIMATED AND COMPARED WITH EXPERIMENTAL DATA. THE CONTRIBUTION OF RADIATION HEAT TRANSFER IS EVALUATED FROM THE STEADY STATE TEMPERATURE DISTRIBUTION OF MULTILAYER INSULATION. PRELIMINARY EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS ON THE IN-SITU TREATMENT OF ADSORBER MATERIAL FOR IMPROVING ITS ADSORPTION CAPACITY IS DISCUSSED.
