Summary
A heat pump system using treated waste water as the heat source is being employed for the first time in Japan. The system has been installed in the Sakuya-Konohana, a permanent pavilion constructed for the International Gardens and Green Area Exhibition in Osaka. A year has now passed since the system was installed. The planned return on the investment has been achieved this year. The system and economical figures achieved are presented.
