Use matrix for district heating pipes to provide cooling.
Author(s) : BAUMANN D., PAREIDT H.
Type of article: Article
Summary
The authors investigated the expanding use of conventional district heating pipes to supply cooling. Penetration of the insulating layer by ambient moisture may restrict fitness for use under certain conditions. Optimum insulating layer thickness for cold transport needs to be indentified and compared with the insulation thickness of commercially-available district heating pipes.
