Use of contaminants for evaluation of ventilation characteristics in large spaces.
Author(s) : HAYAKAWA S., TAKEMASA Y.
Summary
In an attempt to evaluate the ventilation characteristics of large spaces (multipurpose dome and welding yard) using the CO2 generated by the audience and the welding fumes as tracers, it was found that the success of such an evaluation depends on the ventilation rates and ventilation paths. Results are given for both examples.
