THE ACCURATE SOLUTION OF STEFAN'S PROBLEM IS CONSIDERED FOR ITS USE AS AN TO NUMERICALLY STUDY THE PROBLEMS OF PREDICTING SOIL FREEZING. AN ALGORITHM IS SUGGESTED FOR COMPUTER CALCULATION. THE PROGRAMS FOR WATER AND ICE ENABLED THE CALCULATION OF COEFFICIENTS CHARACTERISING THE DISPLACEMENT RATE OF THE INTERFACE FOR DIFFERENT TEMPERATURE CONDITIONS.
