Summary
Turbo-refrigerating water-chilling machines, when used in air-conditioning systems operating in large business and commercial buildings, can work in a free-cooling energy-saving regime. The refrigerant is R123. The implementation of this regime is described, when the refrigerating capacity of the refrigeration machine is up to 40% of the passport value. Use of the free cooling regime allows supplying of cooling to rooms in the internal zone of the building with minimum energy consumption during 8 months of the year.
