Summary
Up to date and functional equipment for the affordable price is the objective of all air conditioning system investments. The new type of regulation, developed in IMP Klima for the variable diffuser, meets this objective. Regulation is based on the well-known thermostatic head principle. Thermostatic head piston movement is stepless transmitted into the angle of diffuser blades. The mechanism allows automatic angle adjustment between 30 and 75° in temperature range between 20 and 30°C. The whole range is not suitable for all ventilation modes, therefore double regulation in added to the mechanism. First regulation for the cooling mode allows limitation of the initial angle. Second regulation for the heating mode allows limitation of the final angle. The advantage of the new regulation system is automatic adaptation of the blade angle to the inlet air temperature without the need for additional power supply, which eliminates the need for an additional installation.
