Summary

THE SPECIFIC HEAT (FROM 2 TO 700 K), MAGNETIC SUSCEPTIBILITY (FROM 2 TO 300 K) AND ELECTRIC RESISTANCE (FROM CRITICAL TEMPERATURE TO 300 K) OF THE SUPERCONDUCTING SYSTEM ZIRCONIUM 75-RHODIUM 25 ARE MEASURED IN THE AMORPHOUS AND METASTABLE CRYSTALLINE STATES. A COMBINED ANALYSIS OF THE RESULTS YIELDS THE TEMPERATURE DEPENDENCE OF THE PHONON SPECIFIC HEAT AND ITS ANHARMONIC COMPONENT. COMPARED TO THE CRYSTALLINE PHASE, AN ANOMALOUS INCREASE OF THE PHONON SPECIFIC HEAT AND AN INCREASE OF THE ELECTRON STATE DENSITY AT THE FERMI SURFACE IS OBSERVED FOR THE EMORPHOUS PHASE OF ZIRCONIUM 75-RHODIUM 25.
