HERE IS AN EXAMPLE OF COLLABORATION BETWEEN INDUSTRY AND THE < GRANDES ECOLES > IN SWITZERLAND: THE PROJECT < VENTILATION IN BUILDINGS FROM AN ENERGY POINT OF VIEW > WHOSE OBJECTIVES ARE, FIRSTLY, TO STUDY THOROUGHLY THE PHYSICAL CONDITIONS OF THE TRANSPORT PHENOMENA OF THE AIR COMPONENTS AND POLLUTANTS IN A ROOM, AND FROM ONE ROOM TO ANOTHER, AND, SECONDLY, TO DEVELOP PRACTICAL MATHEMATICAL MODELS TO CALCULATE THE PROCESSES OF AIR FLOW. THE MEASUREMENT OF THE VELOCITY VECTORS IS CARRIED OUT WITH A LASER DOPPLER ANEMOMETER DEVELOPED IN COLLABORATION WITH A UNIVERSITY. J.L.
