Summary

The main conclusions from the study were that indoor air quality in the evaluated schools did not meet the requirements, and that more ventilation was essential for a better indoor air quality. A new, integrated approach to designing suitable solutions for the ventilation of school buildings was developed. This paper describes the initial design results.
