Summary

The article presents the results of a mathematical and experimental study of a large university lecture hall equipped with a constant-volume ventilation unit and variable recirculation. The mathematical and experimental methods adopted are analyzed critically, in consideration of their possible use for the design and performance testing of ventilation units in large enclosed spaces.
