STATES THAT VENTILATION OF WELDING HALLS IN THE PAST BY MEANS OF CEILING AIR OUTLETS WITH AIR DISTRIBUTION FROM CEILING TO FLOOR, IS NOT AT ALL SUITABLE. THE OBJECTIVE SHOULD BE TO ACHIEVE AIR DISTRIBUTION WHERE SUPPLY AIR IS DISCHARGED FROM THE FLOOR AND EXTRACTED AT THE CEILING, WHILE ANY CONTAMINANTS RELEASED DURING WELDING ARE EXTRACTED FROM THE BREATHING ZONE WITHIN THE SHORTEST DISTANCE BY THE EXTRACT DUCTWORK OF THE ROOM VENTILATION SYSTEM.
