Ventilation where it's needed.

Summary
Single-duct variable air volume systems must be designed using the multiple-space equation. As primary airflow varies during normal operation, total outdoor air intake volume must be maintained as appropriate for the occupancy load. The percentage of outdoor air in the primary airstream must change: no more fixed dampers! Well thought out control schemes that allow outdoor airflow reset can minimize the operating-cost impact of proper ventilation at part load.
