VIBRATION AND NOISE REDUCTION OF HOUSEHOLD REFRIGERATORS.

Author(s) : TSUJIUCHI N.

Summary

USING A MODAL COMPONENT SYNTHESIS METHOD, A NEW DESIGN APPROACH TO SUPPRESSING THE TRANSMITTED NOISE IN HOUSEHOLD REFRIGERATORS WAS UNDERTAKEN. THIS METHOD HAS BEEN APPLIED TO DESIGNING A NEW TYPE OF HOUSEHOLD REFRIGERATOR. AS A RESULT, THE BED-PLATE ACOUSTIC RADIATION EFFICIENCY WAS DECREASED BY 10 DECIBELS(A) AND NOISE LEVEL HAS WAS SUPPRESSED MORE THAN 3 DECIBELS(A) FROM THE CONVENTIONAL PRODUCT.
