Summary

FROM THE EXAMPLE OF A SLAUGHTERHOUSE, THE AUTHOR SHOWS THAT IT IS POSSIBLE AT PRESENT ECONOMICALLY TO RECOVER THE WASTE HEAT FROM REFRIGERATION AND TO USE IT IN THE ENERGY CIRCUIT. IN THE EXAMPLE, ENERGY WAS RECOVERED BY INSTALLING FOUR COUNTERFLOW HEAT EXCHANGERS. THE PHYSICAL PRINCIPLE ON WHICH THE PLANT IS BASED IS REPORTED AND THE ECONOMIC ADVANTAGES OF THE SYSTEM AND THE TECHNICAL DATA OF HEAT EXCHANGERS ARE GIVEN. R.R.
