Summary
The working fluid of water-lithium chloride is as efficient as water-lithium bromide in a vertical falling-film type of absorber and generator for absorption refrigerating machines. The water-lithium chloride system is considered suitable for open-cycle absorption solar cooling systems because the system has sterilizing power.
