REPORT ON AN ENERGY AND SPACE SAVING SYSTEM CAPABLE OF HEATING/COOLING OPERATION AS WELL AS HEAT RECOVERY BY CONNECTING A NUMBER OF LOW-CAPACITY WATER-SOURCE HEAT PUMP AIR CONDITIONERS TO A COMMON WATER-PIPING SYSTEM. A SPLIT VERSION HAS BEEN DEVELOPED BY DIVIDING IT INTO AN INDOOR UNIT AND A HEAT SOURCE UNIT AND CONNECTING THEM WITH REFRIGERANT PIPING. MICROCOMPUTER CONTROL MEANS THAT INDOOR UNITS OF DIFFERING TYPE CAN BE OPERATED AS NEEDED.
