Summary
The authors investigated the influence of surface tension of the solution on the absorption process (water and lithium bromide) in the absorber of an absorption plant. The effects of various additives (n-octanol, 2-ethyl-1-hexanol, 1.3-propanediol) on the surface tension of the solution were also studied.
