Water vapour in pipe insulation.
[In Dutch. / En néerlandais.]

Type of article: Article
Summary
The development of pipe insulation materials with very high diffusion resistance coefficients which can be applied without external protection is discussed, together with the computerized Glaser method for analysis of moisture precipitation in pipework insulation. The effective parameters taken into account in developing the computer programme include the vapour pressure of water and ice around 0 deg C, pipe temperatures, ambient conditions and insulation dimensions. The resultant humidity transfer profile is presented.
