Summary
THE DIFFUSION OF ATMOSPHERIC WATER VAPOUR INSIDE AN INSULATING MATERIAL IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM, NOTABLY IN THE CASE OF COLD PIPING, BECAUSE THE HUMIDITY CONDENSES, AS IT CANNOT ESCAPE TOWARDS SURROUNDINGS AT LOWER PARTIAL PRESSURE. A SIMPLE METHOD FOR PREDICTING THE FALL IN INSULATING POWER OVER TIME DUE TO THE WATER ABSORBED, IS PROPOSED. USING FOAMED RUBBER MATERIAL IS CONSIDERED A SUITABLE SOLUTION FOR THIS PROBLE E. F.
