Describes a research project in the Department of Building Technology at the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, in which the resistance of wall coverings to mould growth was studied. The aim was to determine the species of moulds growing on various types of wet-room wall covering and the damage they may cause. Also studies the effects of cleaning substances. Presents the research methods and supplies and discusses the findings.
