Experimental water vapour permeability results for common wall materials.

Summary

The paper presents the experimental water vapour permeability results for gypsum board, latex paint, permeable vinyl wallpaper, vinyl wallpaper, and elastomeric stucco. For each material, a series of modified cup tests was conducted, and the material water vapour permeability was obtained. This test method was a modification of the ASTM Standard Test Method E 96-93. The permeability values were found to be in good agreement with available data in the literature.
