Working with ammonia.
Type of article: Periodical article
Summary
Since the previous guidance notes issued by the Institute of Refrigeration (United Kingdom), there have been significant changes in design codes and procedures that include for example the introduction of the Pressure Equipment Directive and BS EN 378:2000. The Institute has produced a new Ammonia Code of Practice and it has been considered appropriate to update and issue new guidance notes also. The Standards, Safety Codes and Regulations reported are almost certain to apply.
