The 4th IIR Conference on Thermophysical Properties and Transfer Process of Refrigerants (TPTPR) was held at TU Delft, the Netherlands, on June 16-19, 2013.

4 keynote lectures and 66 papers were presented during this highy successful event.

The 4 keynote presentations cover the human factor in climate change, the thermodynamic analysis of low GWP refrigerants: their possibilities and tradeoffs, the latest experimental and numerical contributions in the field of microchannel flow boiling heat transfer, and lastly a review of the pool boiling prediction methods.

The focus of the papers was on absorption, boiling heat transfer, condensation and two-phase flow, condensation in tubes, cycle performance / heat exchangers, desiccants and slurries, energy storage and distribution, gas coolers, high temperature heat pumps, Life Cycle Climate Performance (LCCP), magnetic refrigeration control, nanofluids, and thermophysical properties.

Soon the papers and keynote presentations will be available for download via Fridoc database on the IIR Web site.

The next conference takes place in Seoul, Korea, in April 2017.
