Algeria: hydrocarbon production decreased by 4% in 2013

However, LNG production rose by 25 million m3 in 2012.
 According to the CEO of Sonatrach, the Algerian and African hydrocarbon production company, primary hydrocarbon production reached 190 million tonnes of oil equivalent (toe) in 2013, i.e. a 4% drop from 2012 figures.

 However GNL reached 25 million cubic metres in 2012. Still according to Sonatrach, the Skikda mega GNL train will be implemented soon, following recent successful trial tests.
