ShareASHRAE winter meeting and French refrigeration greetings ceremony
The IIR presented two papers at the ASHRAE Winter Meeting seminars and participated in the "Refrigeration Greetings event" organised by the French association of refrigeration (AFF) on 27 January.

The ASHRAE Winter meeting was organised in January 29 - February 2, 2022 on site (Las Vegas) and online.
The IIR presented communications during two seminars.
- Role models: how to inspire the next generation of engineers
- World Refrigeration Day: Industry must break silos to reach public.
Both events were dedicated to the promotion of refrigeration activities and jobs for the young generation, especially thanks to a better diversity: we particularly need more women in a fast increasing sector where we do not have enough candidates.

The next World Refrigeration Day will take place on June 26, 2022 and each national organisation can propose promotion activities in refrigeration fields: seminars, visits for young people… visit https://worldrefrigerationday.org/ or the IIR website https://iifiir.org/fr
Celebrating refrigeration 2022 (France)
On 27 January, the French association of refrigeration (AFF) organised the "Refrigeration greetings" with the other French professional organisations concerned and with the IIR, in the presence of more than one hundred participants. The speeches focused on an appeal to young people to train and be recruited in the refrigeration sector, which is increasingly short of manpower.
