In October 2016, all nations agreed to drastically phase-down the use of hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) over the next 30 years. This will lead to a major change in refrigeration and air-conditioning systems, and for which we must all be prepared.
This action must be accompanied by an improvement in the energy efficiency of the equipment and a review of the safety standards and regulations, given the very different characteristics of the new technical solutions to be implemented.
Cooling requirements will continue to grow considerably, particularly in developing countries, which makes these obligations even more stringent.
The IIR will be at your side throughout 2017 to help you prepare for this future.
