Briefs: Fill ’er up with hydrogen!
The Linde Group, a corporate member of the IIR, recently inaugurated its Hydrogen Centre in Loohhof, near Munich. The 3-million € centre brings the hydrogen highway system a step closer to an economic reality and will serve as a filling station supplying liquid and gaseous hydrogen, and a test and training entity. Initially, around 10 hydrogen vehicles will be filled per day, making the centre one of the busiest in the world. Linde is working in partnership with ARGEMUC (Munich Airport), CEP (Clean Energy Partnership, CUTE (Clean Urban Transport for Europe) and Zero Regio (zero-emission region). The group has launched a mobile H2 refuelling unit called trailH2 and is currently working on renewable production methods.
