International Congress of Cryosurgery in Beijing in 2005 On September 12, 2003 the International Society of Cryosurgery (ISC) and the European Society of Cryosurgery (ESC) decided to merge into one society called the International Society of Cryosurgery. Dr Omar Maiwand (UK) was nominated President for a 2-year term. During this meeting, the Board of Directors decided to organize the 13th Congress of the ISC in Beijing, China. Dr Fengrui Zhao was elected Vice-President to chair this forthcoming Congress in 2005.
