Natural refrigerants go to Kyoto
The 14th event in this prestigious conference series, the next IIR-Gustav Lorentzen Conference on Natural Refrigerants (GL 2020) is set to take place from December 6 to December 9, 2020, at the International Conference center of Kyoto, Japan.
Experts, researchers, engineers and policy makers are invited to join the discussion on the latest progress in the field of natural refrigerants.
The conference will foster debate on research subjects covering fundamental studies (such as thermodynamic properties or heat and mass transfer), system developments (such as heat pumps, chillers), and their applications.
A key venue in the combat against climate change
In 1997, the Kyoto International Conference Center hosted the 3rd Conference of Parties to the UNFCCC (COP3) at which the Kyoto Protocol, to counter global warming, was adopted.
Today, Kyoto is considered the birthplace of the universal effort against global warming, and the Japan Society of Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (JSRAE) is proud to organise the next IIR-Gustav Lorentzen conference in such as historic city.
